Savvy Buy—Hayden-Harnett for Target bag

I recently purchased the Hayden-Harnett for Target Double Flap bag in black. I'd been disappointed in the quality of some of the other designer collections that Target has featured so I had no idea what to expect. I've got a regular Hayden-Harnett bag that I love, so I decided to order it.

When it arrived, I opened it immediately and was really impressed with the quality, it is patent PVC but has a light pebbled texture that makes it look luxe. The strap is removable so you can carry it as a clutch or shoulder bag. It also features has a really cute satin lining, cell phone pocket, zipper pocket plus both flaps open so you have 2 pockets to place your valuables.

All of that for a mere $29.99 makes this my favorite Target designer bag to date. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Hayden-Harnett decides to do another collection for Target! :)

Affordable Holiday Party Glamour

It's Holiday Party Season and everyone wants to look chic, but with the current state of the economy, money is a big concern. I've found a few fabulous holiday looks that will fit nicely into your budget.

Once again, Target brings us more design for all...

Booties are a must have this season and these Women's Sigerson Morrison for Target Fierce Patent Booties look fabulous plus have a nice price at just $39.99. There are some killer flats as well as more booties in this collection.

Also available now is the Anya Hindmarch handbag collection. My favorite is this Large Python Shoulder Bag in black, but there are some other cute clutches and bags that I'm keeping my eye on.

Some past Target designer offerings haven't been up to par, but these latest offerings are peaking my interest.

Sound Investment: Wool Pea Coat

A wool pea coat is a classic, timeless piece that fits in perfectly in any wardrobe. Of course, black is a sound choice but if you need a change, go for a nice gray, winter white or even a bold color like red. Season after season, you can always go to this classic coat and look chic.



The Kenneth Cole Reaction Refined Wool Pea Coat is a great buy. It comes in black, charcoal, chocolate, red, ivory and taupe plus is currently on sale for $150 at macys.com.

Fall Blazer

A structured blazer is a must-have for fall and this wool blazer from New York & Company is a great deal. It's on sale now for just $41.96 (online only) and will look fabulous with jeans or trousers.

I bought the black one, but it also comes in gray, pink and plum.
